Our people
Jake joined UKDSC in 2024 after working as a DevOps engineer in the public sector. He aims to introduce innovative methodologies and diverse development tools to enhance the company's growth. His focus is on automating and simplifying processes, thereby enabling further expansion within the organisation.
Richard brings over 40 years’ experience in the Defence and Civil Aerospace and Marine sectors. With Rolls-Royce he held leadership roles in Programme Management, Customer Services, Engineering and Business Development.
Richard has led large business transformation programmes and has lived and worked overseas leading a challenging marine gas turbine development programme.
Daniel is the Senior Finance and Operations Manager, responsibilities include finance, grant governance, day to day operations and front-line IT support.
As a qualified CIMA accountant Daniel brings experiences from different industries including medical, hospitality, working for a small family run business to FTSE250 companies.
Richard is the Head of Innovation and Capability, Digital Communications Technology. He brings over 35 years’ experience in research and development on wireless communications technologies for UK defence.
His experience encompasses a wide range of innovative engineering solutions, delivering operational advantage for land, maritime and air domains.
Nicki leads the International Engagement team at UKDSC. She brings over 25 years of international strategic business development experience from across a wide portfolio of markets.
Pally leads the Prosperity & Economics Data team and has over 23 years of experience across sectors including banking, regulatory and law enforcement.
Over the past 15 years, she specialised in establishing and managing departments aligned with regulations and business models.
Dave looks after the Market Intelligence team and outputs at the UKDSC. He joined in 2018 as a direct hire after spending six years in various roles across the defence industry, primarily in the air domain.
Jeremy oversees the delivery of our customer work programme, funding and governance and runs the UKDSC back office. He brings over 3 decades of running and transforming operational services across public and private sector organisations.
Chris leads the UKDSC team as interim CEO. He brings over 40 years’ experience in the defence and aerospace sectors including roles in engineering and international business development and strategy.
Chris has lived and worked extensively overseas leading large and complex export campaigns in Australia, Asia Pacific, Europe, and the U.S.
Leveraging experience across both systems engineering and consultancy, Jacob is a Market Intelligence Lead and International Support Officer.
Experienced in facilitating interdisciplinary environments, he works across our Market Intelligence, International Engagement, and Innovation and Capability teams, whilst also leading on strategic initiatives.
Tommy is the Defence Economist in the Prosperity and Economic Data Team. He is responsible for work on all JEDHub related analysis products for the UKDSC.
Tommy has extensive experience working on research and analysis projects within the UK, and internationally, across private and public sectors.
Prior to becoming Head of International Engagement at UKDSC, Fraser enjoyed 30 years serving as a navigator and staff officer in the Royal Air Force, following which he continued to contribute to UK Defence in commercial leadership roles, self-employment and as a secondee into UK Defence and Security Exports.
Mark is the Head of Space within the Innovation and Capability team. He has over 40 years of experience within aerospace and defence, with a strong background in both satellite based and alternative navigation systems.
He has worked as an engineer, project manager and business developer on many international collaborative space programmes.
Martin is the Head of Innovation and Capability, Complex Weapons. He brings a decade of experience as a Weapon System Engineer and Technologist to the UKDSC.
Martin has extensive experience working on collaborative technical programs both across industry within the UK, and internationally.
Leading the Innovation & Capability team, Roger has experience in a wide range of technologies and capabilities, from more than 20 years in defence research and development, working in industry and government, complemented by a further decade in civil and commercial research and development.
Jason leads both the Prosperity & Economics Data team and the Innovation & Capability team at UKDSC. Jason started in the defence industry as a technical apprentice before completing his qualifications as a systems engineer.
Jason has experience in all stages of the systems engineering lifecycle, as well as bid management, programme management and engineering management on major programmes.
